Why don't we like everyone?

We don't like someone because they aren't the person that WE want them to be. Think about that for a second... We cannot control who they are. And when they aren't' the person we want them to be, we call them all these names like jerk, idiot, etc...

In reality we have to allow people to be who they choose to be. Once we allow them to be who they choose to be (not who we want them to be) then we can start to make a change. Otherwise we will just spend our lives hoping they were someone else. And when they are not then we hate them.

Remember people choose to act a certain way (people usually say, "well this is just who I am"). We are not dogs. If someone bites us we don't have to bite them back. We can choose our responses, then we can inspire them to make different choices by our own actions.

"By the way you live your life, people should want what you have."~Joel Osteen

Who is helping you stretch your limits?

Sometimes in life, you find a special friend;
Someone who changes your life just by being part of it.
Someone who makes you laugh until you can't stop;
Someone who makes you believe that there really is good in the world.
Someone who convinces you that there really is an unlocked door just waiting for you to open it.

Your potential is waiting to be unleashed. Who is helping you unleash yours?

Don't you make this mistake!

The following is based on Success Hotline's message #440 (973.743.4690)
Don't be a "WHAT- IF" Thinker.
What if this happens, What if that happens.- You know these people.

It's worrying about things that don't exist. If there are any real threats in your life, here is what worry does; it diminishes your power to deal with these issues instead of increasing your coping power to deal with it.

Possibility and Worry cannot exist in the same world. Do you think about what is possible? Or do you think about what and why it won't happen for you?

"Worry= tormenting yourself with negative thoughts."

What are you scared of?

So, if the greatest buried treasures are in the cemeteries throughout the world, then what are we waiting for. You aren't given great moments, YOU create them.

So many people have died without going after what they wanted. Fear stops you from living the life you want to live and being the person you wish to become. Don't die with your potential still inside you.

Poem:
For all sad words of tongue and pen
The saddest are these:
It might have been.

Participator vs Spectator

Happy Easter- Jesus Christ has Risen today!

This is your Superbowl. This is your NBA Championship. This is your World Series. You do not get another chance at life. Stop being the spectator in your own life. Be a participator. Emerge out of your comfort zone.

"Success is by design. Not by chance." ~Ed Agresta

Responsibility

If we live by the 10 most powerful 2 letter words, then there is nothing left to say.
"If it is to be, it is up to me."

What does your body say?

Have you ever said, "Hello" to a stranger and they seemed stuck for an answer.

A charismatic person would ask his close friends, "Are you happy?" Their response would be, "Yes." This charismatic person would respond, "Then tell your face."

Your body language says a lot about who you are. Can others tell how much you appreciate what you have just by the daily look on your face?

"If we don't show our appreciation for what we already have, then why should we receive anymore."

Walking the Talk

Dedicated to Pompton Lakes High School, who changes lives everyday.

"There are many hard things in life, but the only sad thing is giving up."

Today, will you walk the talk? Or will you walk the talk tomorrow? Tomorrow will be your today and today will be your yesterday. In order to get where you want to be, you have to force yourself to behave differently than how you feel.

Walk the Talk

Dedicated to a person whose best quality is honesty, Ashley Nicole.

If we only would take the advice that we give to others, our world would be as we want it to be.
Words can be very powerful. But they're nothing more than words unless we actually live by them.

Our Greatest Human Challenge?
To live according to our beliefs.

You will encounter this everyday

Everyday you will face a problem. You can accept the challenge or get concurred by it. In other words, when you face a problem you get either Fascinated or Frustrated.

The great inventors looked at problems as challenges. The bigger the problem= the bigger the fascination to solve it. Surfers live by this rule. The bigger the wave, the more excited they get. How about you?

Do you give up? or press forward? It is ok to get so frustrated that finding the solution fascinates you. For some, they stop at their frustrations. Change your attitude and you change your outcome.

What else are you holding hostage?

How many qualities inside you, are you holding hostage? What did your confidence and enthusiasm do to be shut out of your life?

Stop blocking your enthusiasm. Some people might say, "Well I'm just not that enthusiastic. It's not in my personality." Aren't you excited to be where you are and enjoy the life you wish to live? It is your choice. You can either complain and find fault as to where you are in life or you can take responsibility for where you are and live out the life you wish to have.

So release the hostages. Open up the gates and let them out. What are you scared of? To not be the person you always wanted to be is cheating the world of who you really are. Remember, "Fear is an illusion; you think something is standing in the way but nothing is really there." ~Michael Jordan
