Flat Line Faces
MERRY CHRISTMAS
The look on your face may tell it all. Someone asked a bitter looking person, "Are you happy." This bitter looking person responded, "YES I'M HAPPY!" The person spoke back, "Then tell your face."
"There are over 6,912 languages in the world. But a smile speaks them all."

Qualities or Things?
What is on your Christmas List? Is it:
Self confidence
Motivation
Ability to complete tasks
Mental Toughness
Or is it materialistic things:
Jewelery
Clothes (with no room for them)
Electronic devices etc...
Which list do you actually need? Which list will ultimately make you happy? Are you getting what you need or are you getting what you want?
Who is the most important person in the world?
YOU! Let's stop and take care of you. Happiness is not in things, but in the relationships you have with people and the ability to step away from who you think you are to become all that you can be.
"We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give."

What Gets You Motivated?
Most people want to learn stress relief techniques after they are already stressed. That is like learning how to swim after you fall in the water. Find out what motivates you.
"People often say, 'Motivation doesn't last.' And I say to them, 'Bathing doesn't either. That's why I recommend it daily.'" ~Zig Ziglar

The Best Gifts Are For Free
Have we spent crazy hours and too much time trying to find that perfect gift to make someone happy? How long will it take before that child or person's happiness wears off? The most creative and heartfelt gifts, are the one's that last forever. Bianca has truly given her Mom a gift that keeps on giving. Last year this 3rd grade girl wrote the following poem to her Mom:
"The Best Gifts Are For Free"
I bought a Christmas present, to give it to my mom,
I saved up all my money and somehow it is gone.
I don't know how I lost it, it makes me oh so mad,
If I never find it, I will be very sad.
The day is soon to come when Christmas eve arrives,
But all I have to give her are the tears from in my eyes.
So I got glue and scissors and paper from the shelf,
And made a pretty card with Jesus and an elf.
Now on Christmas morning, she'll have something from me,
I made this gift with love. The best things are for free.

Your present is a result of your past choices
You are where you are in life because of the choices that you have made. How do you get out of where you are? Answer: Start Making Different Choices.
"A year from now you are going to wish you have started today." What are you waiting for. Ask yourself, "Do I want better." If your answer is yes, then what are you doing about it.
Pillow Test: Every night when you lay your head on your pillow. You may look back on your days events and are you going to say, "I'm glad I did." Or are you going to say, "I wish I had."
"Life is change. Growth is optional. Choose wisely." ~Unknown

We can change the past?
Yes you can. Many people spend time wishing they could do something about the past. Well it's true, you can't unscramble eggs, but you can do something RIGHT NOW. Today will be your yesterday and tomorrow will be your now.
Every night when you go to bed you take the pillow test. What is it? Check back tomorrow.
"Some people see the past better than it was, the future better than it is going to be, and the present worse than it is."

You are to blame for how you don't want to feel
What is one thing that binds you to self pity addictions?
Answer: Getting Offended
Stop blaming others for being offended. YOU allow them to offend you. YOU decide to take it personally. YOU choose to focus on the negative. How many times a day do you allow your emotions to take over your mind?
"Remember, no one can make you feel inferior without your consent." ~Eleanor Roosevelt

Feelings or Freshness
"This is just how I am. I'm not really enthusiastic. I don't get excited to often." Maybe it's because you need some freshness in your life. There is no excitement in being in your comfort zone. Comfort doesn't bring excitement. It just brings more of the same.
Are you actively searching for ways to recreate and improve yourself? When was the last time you actually tried something new? Or is your answer to new ideas, "No I don't do that." What you are really saying is, "I DON'T WANT TO CHANGE. I WILL CONTINUE TO DO THE SAME THINGS I HAVE BEEN DOING. I'LL CHANGE WHEN I FEEL LIKE IT."
Then you are saying that you are an addict. You are addicted to your feelings which makes it difficult to change.
"If you are not actively going after your dreams, then you are not living, you are just existing."

Performance or Enjoyment?
When you want to try something new or perform in front of others, is your decision based on your performance or your enjoyment? Some people will not dance or sing in public. Most people only do things that they perform well at, to avoid failure and embarrassment. Is your whole life dictated by the 10 Words we must get out of our head:
What will other people think, what will other people say.
Whose life are you actually living?
"Who has confidence in themselves will gain the confidence of others." ~Leib Lazarow
