Can I Borrow $25

Special hello to Louis Yip.
A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.
Son: Dad. How much do you make an hour?
Dad: Why you ask?
Son: Just want to know.
Dad: $50
Son: Can I borrow $25
Dad: You wanted to know just to borrow money from me! How selfish can you be! You have enough toys! And things! You don't need anymore! Now go to your room!
(The boy sobbing, went up to his room)

30 minutes later, after Dad calmed down, he thought how harsh he was and went upstairs to apologize to his son.

Dad: Son. Sorry I was so harsh on you. Here is the $25 you asked for.
Son: (smiling) Oh Thank you Daddy!
The little boy reached under his pillow where more money lay. He slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.
Dad: You ask me for $25 and you already had the money! What did you ask me for $25 for!
Son: Because I didn't have enough, but now I do. I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.

Ever tell a child, "We'll do it tomorrow,"
And in your haste not see their sorrow."

Quote of the month:
"WE NOT ME."
