When we think someone is weird, aren't we really saying, "They're not like us." Anything that seems to be outside of what society or you might seem as "normal," we consider weird.
Normal is being like everyone else= Fitting In
Weird is being who you are, not what others think you should be.= Extraordinary
When we think someone is weird aren't we really saying that they are not fitting in with the image that we would like them to be. Weird people are extraordinary. They think for themselves without the opinions of others getting in the way of who they want to be.
"I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird." ~Paul McCartney
Quote of the month: "Fear is an illusion; you think something is standing in the way but nothing is really there."
