Peer Pressure?
Is peer pressure really an excuse for us to be a follower? When we succumb to peer pressure, it takes away from our individuality. We are saying that other people's opinions are more valuable than our own.
Definition of peer pressure- What will other people think. What will other people say.
Don't you get tired living by these ten words? Self confidence is more about what you think and less about what they think.
"Be who you are. No one else is qualified."
Quote of the month: "If you want to run fast, run alone. If you want to run far, run with others."

What Are You Worth?
Everyday is an opportunity to bring value to others.
"People will usually go towards those who enlarge them and will stray away from those that devalue them."
Quote of the month: "If you want to run fast, run alone. If you want to run far, run with others."

When Will You Be Happy?
STOP making other people responsible for your personal enjoyment!
"Well if they stop doing that then I'll be happy. Once I find that one person I'll be happy. When my friends stop telling me what to do I'll be happy."
If our happiness is decided by other peoples actions, then how are we ever going to be happy?
"Enjoy what you have. Because once you don't have it, you can no longer enjoy it."
Quote of the month: "If you want to run fast, run alone. If you want to run far, run with others."

Are you an Adapter or Controller?
"Shut up! Come here. If I were you I wouldn't do that. Why do you do that? You should have finished college. Why are you still with him? Stop doing that, it annoys me. Your just annoying." If this is an adult speaking to another adult, what they are really saying is, "Your actions are not fulfilling my expectations." These phrases are selfish motives used by the controller.
Controllers spend most of their life controlling instead of adapting. People who try to control things usually are bossy and demanding.
They spend their whole lives trying to control others, to stay in line with their comfort. They never learned to adapt. People who learn to adapt, trust that everything will work out. Controlling people only trust after it works out. So they spend most of their life trying to control others to fit in with their expectations and comfort.
"Happiness is not the absence of conflict; but the ability to cope with it."
Quote of the month: "If you want to run fast, run alone. If you want to run far, run with others."

Stop Wasting Your Energy
What did you stress out about on Jan. 10 of this year? How about on July 8, 2008? What did you stress about on April 28, 2004?
If it won't matter tomorrow, why worry today?
"Your life was not meant to be endured. It was meant to be enjoyed." ~Joel Osteen

Venting or Adapting?
Venting is a selfish controlling quality.
When we vent or get angry we are really saying that, THINGS AREN'T GOING THE WAY I WANT IT TO. Here is a thought... Adapt to it.
But instead most people say, "Well that's not fair. Why did that happen?" Do you really want to know why? Or do you just wish it didn't happen? Stop spending your life getting offended. Stop thinking that it is your obligation to get angry when you don't get your way. Whether the person you are angry with is right or wrong, DOES NOT MATTER.
If you want to have inner peace, you must give up your thoughts of controlling others actions. One thing that you are in control of is adapting to it.
"You are 100% responsible for your reactions."
Quote of the month "If you want to run fast, run alone. If you want to run far, run with others."

Get your Brain Out of Bed
One morning I woke up thinking about myself like I always did. "No one does anything for me. How come I didn't get that raise at work? I don't feel like getting out of bed. Oh it is raining today."
It seems like negative thoughts make a bed for your brain to lie in every morning. The longer you lay there, the more comfortable your brain is. Then when you finally get to your destination, these next few sentences are what you may look like to others all day, "What about me. What about me. What about me. What about me. What about me. What about me. What about me. WHAT ABOUT ME! WHAT....... ABOUT.........ME!"
Why is this? Because of your addiction.
#1 Selfish Quality: being addicted to our feelings.
The most selfish 5 word sentence that will put a stop to you achieving your goals: "I don't feel like it."
Whenever we say that, we are actually saying, "I will only do what I feel like doing."
"Control your mind, before your mind controls you."
Quote of the month: "If you want to run fast, run alone. If you want to run far, run with others."

Are you sick?
For every problem under the sun,
there is an answer or there is none.
If there is an answer go and find it.
If there isn't, never mind it.
Life is a continuous series of problem solving events.
Antidote to your sickness: Wouldn't life be easy if you had the answer to the problems you encounter? Guess what. YOU DO.
The problem isn't the problem. How you handle the problem determines you problem sickness.
Someone once said, "You either just left a problem, are in a problem or are on your way to a problem."

Your Wish List May Be Holding You Back
I wish I had more money.
I wish I had a better car.
I wish I had finished school already.
I wish this line at the store wasn't so long.
I wish I was in better shape.
Do you get it yet? Many people walk around everyday saying, "What about me? What about me? What about me?" Once we wake up in the morning, is our first thought about ME? Is our whole day all about ME?
Why should we be given anymore if we don't already appreciate what we have?
"Self pity makes us blind to our blessings." ~Joyce Meyer
