Definition of Worry

It seems like some parents have children because they don't have enough things to worry about. We know this isn't true. But worry is not the result of children. Worry is the result of not having faith.

Do you have Faith? Or do you have Worry? Faith and worry cannot exist.

Worry-tormenting yourself with negative thoughts

Why would we ever want to torment ourselves by thinking these thoughts over our own family or friends?

"Worry is like rocking in a rocking chair; it passes the time but doesn't get you anywhere."

Quote of the month: "People don't care how much you know until you show them how much you care."

We worry because it is easier and more familiar to us than growth, risk, change, sadness and all the other things we wish to avoid. We use our children to distract us from all kinds of things like our marriages, our jobs, our health....worry keeps us stuck, comfortably stuck.

Thank you. Worry is one of the leading causes of stress and stress is the leading cause of heart disease.
