Let them rent space in your head.
When we allow others to rent space in our head, here is what happens:
they walk in, throw a party, trash the place, leave and then you are left with all the garbage. How much garbage do you clean up on a day to day basis?
Stop letting other people's thoughts control your feelings. When you do this, you are saying that everyone else is in control of your mood.
