Isn't time to let go of it? It is only a stress burden for you to carry. We got offended, took it personally and are now pointing the finger at someone else. We are still holding this against that person. How long are you going to carry this heavy burden?
What is it? A Grudge! So another person didn't act the way that YOU wanted them to. You are still responsible for one thing, YOUR RESPONSES!
"Stress isn't what happens to you. Stress depends on how you respond to what happens to you."
Quote of the month: TEAMWORK: "It's amazing what we can accomplish when no one cares who gets the credit." ~John Wooden

If you could only give your child 1 gift, What would it be?
Do your children get bored? How do you get your children to want the things that they already have? Well next time a child or anyone says that they are bored, they are saying that they are bored with everything they have. A child means that they are bored of everything that you have provided for them. It could be because they have too much. But too much of what. Do we shower our children with many gifts? Things that they may want at that time, but don't really need. So after awhile it just falls at the waist side and its only a matter of time before they started saying, "I'm bored", again. What does this teach children?
Do children actually get to learn how to deal with things that they cannot have? Do we give our children the gift of what they truly need?:
Enthusiasm- being excited for the life that you gave him/her
(like they were when they were at the age of 5)
Encouragement-going out of their way for someone else
(does your child always have to be the first one in line)
Handling Adversity- disagreeing appropriately, putting others feelings ahead of their own
Character is who you really are. Reputation is who people say you are.
Some say sports builds character. In reality,
Sports Reveals Character.

What else do you want?
Special Hello to the Great Dr. Gilbert
Do you have a hard time walking by a jewelry store without looking in the window or going inside and looking for what else you want? Are your dresser draws overflowed, with no closet space at all and still have the need to go shopping to look for what else you want? Be honest. Don't you feel happy when you go shopping? How about buying yourself that piece of jewelry that "you must have."
We seem to drool over things and get ourselves all hyped up for something that may be satisfying for now until that excitement wears off. If we could just attain that excitement throughout our ownership of it, then why do we have to have more than what we need. Take a look at everything that you had to have. If you still have it, do you feel the same way about it? Your thoughts become your feelings and your feelings become your habits. Your habits become your character.
Our habits may have become our false needs.
Whatever you feed, you will think you need.
"We fail to acknowledge and appreciate what we have, because we are so concerned with what we want." ~John Wooden
